Boa constrictor imperator -  Locales:

This subspecies is by far the most common of all boas, not only in the wild but in captivity.  Much of this comes from the huge range, but also from their ease of breeding when compared to other Boa subspecies.

Taxonomic data: Daudin 1803; fewer than 253 ventral scales; mid-body scale count 55-79 (Colombians have been found to have 80-84); 21 or more dorsal blotches (to vent)
