Tarahumara Mt. Boas

Previous

The Tarahumara Mt. Boas are from the Sierra Tarahumara in the Sonoran Desert in Mexico.  A population found at a very high elevation.  Tarahumara boas are the smallest of all boas.  Females have bred as small as 38" in length.  The project is best being handled by Gus Rentfro of Rio Bravo Reptiles.  Other breeders are also working with pure examples.

WARNING: There are a LOT of mixed lineage boas, many are Mexican, some even limited to Sonorans, but that are not pure Tarahumara boas.  Be very careful if you are looking to add these boas to your collection.  Breeders have bred Tarahumara boas to boas as distant as Colombians, yet still sold as Tarahumara boas.
