Boa constrictor melanogaster

Found on the Eastern slope of the Andes Mountains in Ecuador this subspecies is under debate and is not accepted by all.  

Taxonomic data: Langhammer 1983; scale count 86-94 dorsal rows; 237-252 ventrals; 45-54 subcaudals; average 20-21 saddles.
